Im having a problome with my amp overheating im not sure if its that?

im haviing trouble with my amp. its just started like 2 days ago and it never happpend intill now. i have a hifonics bxi 2000watt amp running 2 kicker l7s . 12 inch . so i just started playing my subs like normal day but this time i only played it for at least 5 minutes or less loud. and the subs stoped playing and i looked at my amp remote, and the light was red. and its usually green. but it switched to a red color im not sure if its burning or overheating . but it has never happened before. i need help all my wires are hooked right and everything .
