Guy problems, read on?

So me and this guy Aj have a thing and I know him through one of my family friends, but I only met him like once and we text all the time. Like legittt we text soo much....but he's the one with a car and he neverr makes an effort to hangout. Like it pisses me off because he alwayss tells me how much he likes me and stuff and i knowwww that he is such a nice kid, so i feel bad if i like assume hes lying and really likes some other girl. so i guess my question is, what should i do? i just feel likeeee its not going anywhere because i havent seen him for so long...should i just give upp? or wait it out becausee i really doo like him a lott and like i said before hes sooo niceeeeee =[ ugh thankss! 10 points for best advice
