If you were a parent, what would you do?

So about 3 weeks ago, I came home drunk and my parents went through my bag and found a lot of things. My fake id, my cigarettes, condoms, rolling papers, and like coupons for a club or something, anyways, I got grounded for 8 months! It seems a bit extreme to me. And I can't use my itouch, phone (except when I go to school), they said after 8 months I can only go to places during the day, and I can only go out till late at night till 2 when I'm a senior, and I can't go anywhere but school or somewhere with them. I'm almost 16, I get good grades, like a B/B+ average and I think I'm responsible enough. Anyways, my mom said that if I just asked her, she would have let me gone out clubbing. It's kinda hard to believe this. Anyways, I had a boyfriend who was a lott older than me (like 2 times my age), and I'm considering telling her the truth, but I'm scared she's going to ground me more, even though its over. Should I tell her?
